Trying to run Manor Lords from MacBook Air M2, 8GB
Hey guys, really stuck here- any help appreciated. I’ve been trying to play Manor Lords on my Macbook for a week now. I’ve tried a few different methods but had no luck or hit roadblocks.
I own ML on both Steam and Epic Games currently but am struggling to run it using Heroic Games Launcher. When I launch Epic Games in HGL I can’t see my Libary or where to download ML. I’m confused what the next steps are?

what do you mean you launch epic games in hgl? did you add the actual epic games launcher inside heroic?
you should just login in the
Log in or Manage accounts action in heroic's sidebar and the game should show up in the Library to install it
if it works or not on macos I don't know, but I understand you are not even able to download it?extended-salmonOP•4w ago
Hi, thanks for your message.
I had the game in my epic games library but it was not showing in my library in Heroic. I logged out and in and now it’s showing.
The game is downloading now it seems from the library in Heroic so hopefully it will work now!
@arieljuod The game now starts but just gets stuck after the loading screen. Any suggestions please?

can you run the game with gptk latest instead of whisky and see how it runs?

if you look at the sidebar, you’ll see an option labeled wine manager
go into there, select the gptk tab, and install gptk latest if it isn’t installed (if it is, skip this step)
go back to your library and press the game’s settings icon (hover over its tile and it’s the options section next to the play button)
where it says wine version, select gptk latest from the sidebar
after that delete the prefix folder the game is in
if you need a clearer explanation or pictures to guide you, let me know and I can do it as soon as I’m home

Amazing thanks. I’ve done all that except delete the ‘prefix folder’. How would I do that?

open Finder (the file explorer of MacOS) and delete this folder
/Users/louie.humble/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Manor Lords

I’m still getting the same issue unfortunately
Game just doesn’t progress after the initial loading screen
