Chunks generate wrong
Hi I dowloaded a 8k by 8k map on the internet which looks like very realitic nature generation. But now my chunks generate like I guess the seed and not like the world and I have to go manually to the wrong generated place (so near that im rendering it with vanilla render distance) and only then it renders with DH the chunk corecctly or AKA the LOD chunk updates to the right.

I also discorvered that sometimes it doesent even safe it and still dont update the LOD chunk

This ine onemore example
The map you downloaded most likely contains corrupted, unfinished or old format chunks
Vanilla has great error correction and can handle this
DH however needs the new correct format to work properly
You can try doing couple things:
- enable Assume Existing Chunks Are Finished in DH settings
- enable Recalculate Height Map in DH settings
- run the vanilla World Optimisation feature on the world (maybe even couple times)
First one can cause crashes, but may be able to load chunks that are finished, but not marked as such
Second will decrease the LOD generation and loading speed, but can fix simplest chunk metadata error, being the height map
Third is the best and safest, but takes a lot of time on large worlds (and you need to run it multiple times for best result or at least some people reported that DH started to load correct chunks only after running it multiple times)
Okay Ill try it
I did the second thing and from the first view I think it actually worked! Tysm!
Okay so the second one dont works but maybe because the chunks which are showing wrong where already gennerated

Ill try it one the same map one more time but Ill delete the loaded chunks
If a LOD is already generated, it won't regenerate
You can perform a !forceupdate
To force a DH LOD to update, you should go to affected chunks one by one and place/destroy a couple of blocks, then wait a while in close proximity to the outdated chunks.
To make the process more reliable, you can:
- Increase the number of placed/broken blocks
- Increase the DH CPU load preset
- Decrease the DH RD
- Re-enter the world before starting the process (but after decreasing the DH RD)
- wait longer in even closer proximity
Or delete your current LODs

All dimensions in one file: SERVER_FOLDER/plugins/DHSupport/data.sqlite
NOTE:
Sometimes there might be 2 additional files next to the main one with extensions .sqlite-wal and .sqlite-shm
If there are, all 3 should be treated as a single file, a.k.a. moved, deleted, backed-up always together!
If you don't, the database will become corrupted.Ok nice it worked for now. Ill now generate a world and let DH load for some hours Ill look then for some chunks which are wrong and respond if it worked.
Ok nvm

Its still loading wrong
Ill try then number 1
But its like always loading wrong wheres water
AKA Oceans
Cuz everywhere else it loads perfectly

Also one question: Why is DH generating so random? I mean On one side theres so much generated and other nothing

Just as question can the mod Climate rivers cause this problem?
Hello yes Climate rivers probably cause this to generate wrong. I had the same problem a few months ago. Just remove the mod and then do this:
For that IDK
Okay TYSM! and also @Miki_P98 Thanks for ur help!
