AX210 UNRAID VM Issues

Hi all, I've just got my Bazzite setup on my computer via VM. It took some time but I was able to successfully configure my passthroughs to have my ax210 adapter detected, and can be detected as a network controller properly, but I cant seem to get anything to connect. it appears the firmware is there, though ending in an xz format im not sure if that is meant to be uncompressed or what. I can confirm it is using drivers for iwlwifi and it looks like its loading when I query it in the terminal, so I'm really at a loss of how to troubleshoot this further. My Bluetooth panel appears, but enabling it does nothing and no devices show and the same goes for the WiFi panel. Happy to share more details just not sure what else I should! Thanks in advance for any help
Solution:
Ok, I kind of solved the issue. Tested against a fresh install with Ubuntu and Bazzite . Ubuntu worked to detect and utilize the bluetooth, while new Bazzite did not. ...

AX210 is fully supported, I have it in every device I own You have something else going on Including my desktop via an adapter

yeah i believe that , its a great adapter its being detected too it seems also worked outside of this OS is there anything in steam-deck image that might restrict the use of adapters like that?

It's not the OS, ax210 stuff is all upstream in the kernel, and we have the same /usr folder bit for bit No

This is meaningless AI is a bullshit artist If your firmware was failing to load mine would be as well, we have the same firmware bit for bit

Unless you've changed settings since install that would also do nothing Your usr folder matches mine and is checked on install and update for integrity Post an rpm-ostree status for me

i already deleted the machine ill reinstall and if it persists il continue here bazzite vs bazzite-deck shoudl have no difference in this matter though right?

Correct AX210 is upstream, every version of Bazzite has the same firmware and the same kernel code for that device Exactly equal to fedora, Ubuntu, android, and everything else that ships a Linux kernel

well, wifi is working but not bluetooth. bazzite@bazzite:~$ rpm-ostree status State: idle Deployments: ● ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-deck:stable Digest: sha256:e7ef99b0f267e41124c0a41bb3640f2cb4981b6733dc954f46678a3928e77cbc Version: 42.20251011 (2025-10-11T17:42:07Z) ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-deck:stable Digest: sha256:7ac3815909de60b7cfec9002bebd5851adc16fa33fb7958c535b104e655455f5 Version: 42.20250916.1 (2025-09-16T17:33:04Z) bazzite@bazzite:~$ bluetooth service is also running but bluetooth is stuck in disabled mode and when i click enable, nothing changes except the + sign appears to view avilable devices. i click on that and the box appears but no devices ever show, and theres defienitely several to detect all wifi networks are shwoing though bluetooth already exists but the mode is different (file system: 755 configurationDirectoryMode: 555) Is now the most concrete error i can find whne starting bluetooth service Think im close to the issue. Dont think its an issue with Bazzite, but changed the title to reflect Unraid in case someone else in the future has this issue.

Ok, I kind of solved the issue. Tested against a fresh install with Ubuntu and Bazzite . Ubuntu worked to detect and utilize the bluetooth, while new Bazzite did not. Incidentaly, my old Bazzite-deck machine, now detects the bluetooth and functions properly. The fix i made was in my Unraid boot/config/modprobe.d and add blacklist to btusb and bluetooth. Hope this might help someone in the future, thanks for your attention thus far @Kyle Gospo
