You might have to add your user to the docker group in order for that to work

tried that and it still complains about not being able to connect to docker i tried starting docker with systemctl but it doesnt seem to exist despite the command docker working fine
Luke Skywunker
What did you do to install it?

i think i used ujust install-docker but that no longer appears to be a thing? im not sure how docker was installed its either layered or in a distrobox the reason im making an image to begin with is to abandon this fucked up bazzite install lol

i need to be able to run docker to generate the iso on my current machine

You can use podman instead

can podman run as a daemon like bluebuild seems to want? oh i attach this to the bluebuild command?
Luke Skywunker
Technically, it can, but that's not the default behavior Yes It's for setting the run driver

ok trying that!
Luke Skywunker
It has to be after generate-iso but before image/recipe
