Hi @Mono! For better answers, include:
- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
I like the style but for this i probably wouldnt recommend poly as the material
It just looks like a long sleeve polo shirt
I usually wear a denim jacket over mine
And tuck mine into a pair of slacks / pants
Which material would you prefer then
Cotton! (Linen, hemp, and blends work too) Its just nice on the skin and i think it would drape better
Nothing wrong with poly btw, i just think for this style a natural fabric works better
I tried it with white pants and tucked it

can we see untucked
Cotton would be similar to a tshirt??
these shirts are very airy and flowy so i think untucking plays into that more
not strictly
many button up shirts use cotton with different weaves or knits
you can have many different feels and fabrics with cotton
Yes
I can't find a buttonless cotton shirt online
cos does knitted shirts like this quite often i think
uniqlo sometimes but they like to use blends a lot, they still look nice tho

These are usually categorized as knits and not shirts, fwiw, because theyre closer to a knit sweater than a button down shirt.

Long Sleeve Knit Polo - Lapis Boucle | 3sixteen
Our Knit Polo features a buttonless, continuous placket and open collar that sits nicely on the chest. They’re knit by our partner factory in Peru out of cotton yarns with a boucle texture which give a slight knotty appearance to the knit. SIZING: Please note that our measurements are taken as the sweater is laid flat
Yes i like them a lot, I've 5-6 cotton knit shirts
nice ok well the one I linked is 100% cotton so there u go champ
I know it looks good
But is there any way to make that polyester shirt look cool
It's very light and loose for me
yea its workable
can we see untucked
yeah light and loose is the point
you want to lean into light and loose, tucking fights against it
Yes

better than tucked for sure
^
I think i should also unbutton the cuff to make it neat
I think the white pants are a really stark contrast too unless someones already mentioned that
Yes, do you think it's a good combo or should i try something else
Also what shoes should i pair it with
white or offwhite pants and white or black shoes (low profile sneakers, loafers, sandals) imo
mono-black could be cool imo, similar energy to this

Loafers like that?
