What are some have-to-know’s that aren’t too easy to find in the PZ’s help box?
I’ve been grinding Planet Zoo for about two weeks now - this is the most dedicated I’ve been to this game in a while. I’m hyper-focused and I’ve been watching hours upon hours of different YouTubers for inspiration, but also to see those tips and tricks that Planet Zoo doesn’t really tell you.
This leads me to the point of this post. What are some of those things that you’ve discovered about the game that Planet Zoo doesn’t teach us?
One of the examples I came across was that if you’re in sandbox and you’ve set all your species to have 100% happiness all the time, they aren’t as active as they would be if they had happiness settings. I’m not sure how true that is because I haven’t tested it out yet or paid too much attention to it, but a few people said it.
(The photo is one of the chimp’s I used to work with named Krystal. She was born in a lab that did testing until the government’s NIH stopped funding invasive research on them in 2015. In 2000, the CHIMP act was passed to establish a system to find sanctuaries for the government-owned chimps. I worked with Krystal at one of these sanctuaries. ) :PlanetZoo:

I think for me one of my “have to knows” is that in the Staff tab, Yellow workload bubbles actually means that they have low workload, not that they are borderline high workload.
