hey man. trying to get this working too. i did the environment variables thing but still getting that epic games launcher missing popup
unrelated but this is one of those moments where i regret getting the steam deck. i just want maximum compatibility with games and none of this tinkering hassle
spent a whole morning setting up dualboot just for this game... š© but now im ready to play

hello, downloaded the epic_games_launcher.msi form the heroic store page and then run exe on prefix (though i dont think this is the way), it installs, but if launched, silently exits after trying to find updates, after this the game proposes the login with netmarble account, then it trys to link with epic launcher and fails

so it turns out i had some network issue (firewall allowing only web), once resolved the epic_games_launcher worked and i could install from there and the game started, but sadly i could not continue with the next round of downloads for lack of space (50Gb maybe more)

tried a couple things but not gotten it to work yet, been thinking of maybe getting a android emulator instead and trying on that.
