Any DNS changer app in Bazzite for Discord?
Discord is "banned" in Turkey so you either need a DNS changer or VPN.
Couldn't get in with proton vpn because of infinite human verification questions. Also new to linux so i had to get help from a friend who uses Bazzite.
Ive tried to download green tunnel via distrobox, tried to get WARP working and other things i cant recall but no luck so far.
Would appreciate any help since i want to be able to use discord while exploring bazzite further.

You can just manually change the DNS in the network settings
Wait thats it? You just apply and quit? Also do i have to do it for ipv6 too?
Yea just go to that menu IPv4 and change the DNS whit other one like google in my picture

The easiest way is to change the DNS in your DHCP server
this way any device that automatically gets an IP from your router gets these DNS addresses assigned
no need to fiddle with every connected device this way
I actually dont know how to do that
It's usually in your router or gateway (router and modem in one) device
gotta open the settings, go find the DHCP settings somewhere, and change the DNS servers. Could sometimes also be in your DNS settings instead.

Can you try vesktop too, I have had on one device that the discord app just refused to work but 3rd party ones worked fine (then randomly one day the desktop app worked again)
But this only happened on 1 PC and I could not replicate it on another

It's mainly to just check if it's a discord client issue or not since you said iirc the web version worked

We mainly used vesktop here back when discord didn't have working screen share support in Linux (and when discord kept breaking it when they did get it working lol)

Government limited connection to discord servers so all you do is check for updates and fail
Custom dns worked with discord web but not app
they use the discord servers, its just an improved frontend for discord web (with working screenshare and iirc audio from just the selected window)

so if it has an install script then you probably need to run it inside distrobox/distroshelf/boxbuddy
and if that needs to interact directly with networking it might need to be a rootful distrobox

Yeah im aware my situation is unique
replace docker with podman
and you only need to use 1 of those
and if the static binary is self contained then it might work by itself too
seems like the binary is self contained so you can just download and run that directly too in the terminal
just need to
chmod +x ./demergi-* first once it is downloaded and extracted
hopefully that will get you somewhere

as i said earlier, try using a distrobox
not sure if it will have to be rootful though

or just accept you have to manually do the startup (or manually copy the service file to /etc/systemd/system)
zapret works by intercepting TCP / UDP packets on host, it will not work in a distrobox
putting systemd service in /etc will however work
