How do i install the vp9 codec?

im trying to run ninja gaiden 4 and it seems to launch but it says it needs the vp9 codec to run videos and such. I went to winetricks and tried downloading all the codecs but after awhile it opens a window and in the logs i see it says failed to find pgrep so how do i fix this?

Solution:

updating proton versions fixed the thing it seems

i do have the grep package installed so idk why it cant find it game works fine enough if i ignore the vp9 error no videos tho which was expected random crashes after awhile is normal too going from the protondb reports

Are you using a recent version of GE-Proton? That should have all the codecs included
