beacon cutoff due to low render distance

Hey there, is there a way to
  1. Make the beacon not cut off (as seen in the picture) when using a low render distance
  2. Make the DH "fake" beacon have the right color when its fully outside the render distance, since i think the shape of the beam as well as the color does not look correct
Any tips are much appreciated
