i have the same problem as him, my driver is stuck on the 6913 version
i have already tried updating my graphics to version 8247 but i still could not launch val
but i have used ddu installer and installed the new one from here

after installing this, did you click on update in the intel app
it did not show update
use ddu and install this again
i did it twice, still did not work
that always shows older driver

and it said up to date
