try some suggestions from protondb: https://www.protondb.com/app/1693980
apparently capping the framerate with
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=144 %command% in the launch options helps reduce stutterthank you will test it and report back
Apologise very new to bazzite
That should be in steam general launch options "DXVK_FRAME_RATE=144 %command%"
If so it does not help with lagging and stutters, it feels like it's constantly reading files from the NVMe and cannot keep up but that's just an observation.
Also I have lowered from Ultra settings to just medium but it's the same.
another thing you could try is deleting the cache here:
/home/(username)/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1693980/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Dead Space (2023)/cacheDid it, still the same. It's like opening a door to a new area causes stutters, I've been looking on the site and trying different launch options but no luck for now.
did you have those stutters on windows?
nope stable 144fps at ultra settings with further quality enhancements from nVidia control panel like enhanced antialiasing x8, low latency, g-sync, texture filtering high quality, basically everything maxed out in game options and further in nVidia control panel and still easily 144 fps
