right side not flashing blue when i turn it on.

I checked if I did the soldering correctly multiple times... I have charged it at the same time as the left side, in the same way. When I try to charge it, it flashes blue and a bit of red for the first second, the same as the left side. I am able to install the UF2 files provided for the right side, but that's about it. I only have to press the reset button on the right side once for the Files Window to pop up, while it takes two button presses to bring up the Files Window on the left. Not sure what that's about.
I am able to type on my computer with the left side, with Bluetooth, with zero issues.

Thanks for the details! The fact that a single tap on RESET opens the NICENANO drive means the right nice!nano is sitting in bootloader (the app isn’t starting). That’s why you don’t see the normal blue status LED when you power it on.
Try this quick checklist:
1) Power/battery
- Switch UP = ON.
- Reseat the JST fully. Try powering with USB plugged in and switch ON. If it only “boots” with USB, the battery/switch/JST is suspect. Remember: it only charges with the switch ON.
2) Reflash carefully
- Put it into bootloader with a fast double-tap of RESET.
- Copy the correct Right-Half UF2 for your kit (and whether you have nice!views).
- IMPORTANT: Wait for the NICENANO drive to disappear after copying. If it stays mounted, the flash didn’t complete. Try another USB cable/port, and re-download the UF2.
- After a successful flash, a single tap of RESET should NOT open the drive anymore.

3) Reseat the nice!nano
- Ensure it’s face down, firmly seated in the headers, and no pins in B+/B-.
4) Get the halves talking
- Once the right boots normally, press RESET on both halves at the same time. If they still don’t connect, follow Split Halves Won’t Connect: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/troubleshooting/split-halves-wont-connect
