What happened (short):
During a ranked match my client glitched — , there were green pixel artifacts , and certain areas became effectively invisible. I restarted the game right away, then smokes stopped rendering properly, strange textures inside the smoke appeared,Shortly after I received a ban for cheating.
Why I’m reporting this:
I didn’t use any third-party software. I think the visual bug made my play look like I had an unfair advantage and that may be why I was flagged. I have a clip showing the issue and can provide it if needed.
My system:
CPU: Intel i5-12400F
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 11
val version (v116.0.2)

I’m happy to share the clip you need. I just want this checked as a possible bug leading to a false positive.

which trigged the vanguard system and got me banned
alr so most cheaters will be at the placed at about plat due to them having crazy aim from aimbot but shitty ah game sense
which was completely vanguards fault but i can see why id get banned

The issue is people banned for cheating that really don't know how they got banned for cheating likely shared their account or was compromised, happens all the time. To them obviously its a false ban, but in reality someone did indeed cheat on their account. We have tons of analytics (which i can't share) to ensure we're doing our jobs properly
Any large company is going to have tons of analytics on everything, and it's easy to make generalized assumptions, but data speaks otherwise
You would not be able to comprehend or even imagine the types of data, I suggest learning SQL, it's crazy what you can do

My account wasn't compromised and wasn't shared at that time I was the only one playing on it
of course and I have the recording of when I got banned, my game was being pixely and weird so I restarted my pc and when I did and I opened valorant it just got so much worse and I was able to see thru smokes but they had like a weird texture on it.
I think my game was missing some textures
because after I repaired my valorant files and I didn't get the glitch
