Question regarding Autostart

i installed bazzite saturday and after figuring out how to install windows games and getting acostumed to this new (to me) proton stuff i decided to figure out how to make my goxlr work on linux. by sunday i had my new system mostly set up exactly how i wanted it. the only thing is that when i made the USB Install of bazzite i chose to start immediatly to steam big picture or steam OS. Now on to the actual issue. my GoXLR only starts working as intended once i exit from big picture to the desktop environment, only then does the "autostart" of the goxlr utility opens. once that happens the goxlr stays working just fine. is there a way to have whatever i have set to autostart (system settings option) to actually start when my computer turns on and boots into big picture mode or am i stuck having to go to desktop mode every time i want to hear audio though my goxlr interface? Sorry iam sure there is a much better way to word all of this i just want to give as much info as i can if someone decides to help they can know what i mean. Thanks

I could be extremely wrong about this but I believe that autostart will only run when KDE is started. So to run an application in the background all the time a systemd service would be the way to go afaik. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/vocyi5/start_syncthing_automatically_on_steamdeck_even/ This reddit thread should get you on the right track for setting up a systemd service, just apply your needs as they differ.
