Ridiculously lengthy/slow chunk generation

No specific errors, or errors shown whatsoever. Used aggressive but switched to balanced after my CPU temp hit 195F / 90C. Switching to either did not fix the problem. All my mods are: Big Globe, C2ME, DH 2.3.6, Fabric API, Indium, Iris, Modmenu, OkZoomer, Sodium [Singleplayer] Laptop specs: i5-12450H RTX 3050 16GB RAM (with 7GB allocated) also have a 1TB PCIe SSD Short Description: I load in as normal, and it begins generating my chunks. After a while though, my chunk loading drops from 16-30 to like 1-3 chunks. The first image is what it's showing me.
