range is a lot less resource intensive, 300 fps is alright

not much you can do, turn on game mode on ur pc, close out of any background apps, thats pretty much it if u dont wanna start doing pc optimization

because range is smaller, so it needs less power for every frame, so it can render more fps and there are no other players moving. You normally only need as many fps as your screen has or less and I think your screen has less than 600-700hz. So if your screen would have 10 fps (example) it can show only 10 frames per second, so it would only need 10 fps because more fps on your pc does not mean it can show more than your screen. Imagine a car in traffick. The fps are the cars potential speed and the screen is the speed of the other cars. If your screen is 100hz, and your fps is 250, then you could drive 250 but it can only drive 100 because of the other cars blocking.
