Valorant keeps disconnecting mid game (not an internet issue)
Hello,
Recently I have faced issues where in my game, I just lose connection mid game. I typically see fps loss on the top right corner and then network connection error on the top right corner as well before I disconnect. My internet is still working during this time. My discord is also still working but Valorant just disconnects me mid game.
Sometimes it would load back up after a minute but then agents are shown on the map as a blue X mark and the characters next to the scores are also missing. It doesn’t show any Valorant code errors or times out, it just shows me the loading map screen while I try to re-connect. Sometimes the fix is alt tabbing and tabbing back in but not all the times.

What error you getting ?
No error codes. It just when it disconnects it shows the map whenever you get into a game before agent select.
Sounds like you might be getting some pretty extreme packet loss. Try turning on the network graphs in the settings and see which one is spiking before the disconnect.
As for the dead markers on the minimap, reconnect is a bit of a pain and causes a few state issues that should fix the next round. We fixed the dead body on the ground one last patch and the minimap one I believe is scheduled in a patch or two.
Sounds good, I will go check that out. Maybe it is worth mentioning, when I get disconnected from the game, I can still hear the in-game voice channel but can't move I believe. I would still be stuck on the map loading stage. Thanks for the help!
