Can someone explain how the nickname function works?
Hello awesome people!
I tried setting a nickname reward but it doesn't seem to be applying and I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong.
For format I used {user.displayName} [GOAT] and as a test I applied it to level 1. I then reset all xp on my account, put myself at 2xp below the level up treshold, typed a message and leveled up to level 1. However I did not see any name change happen. Far as I can tell there's no error either which leads me to believe that I must be doing something wrong and perhaps I am just misunderstanding how this is supposed to work.

You can check permissions in
Settings > Integrations and search for Kiai. You should see manage nicknames under granted permissions.
If this is not the issue, provide you server id (can be found in /ping) and I can get someone to look into it further!...

Hey @rrr0yyy! Our team will answer your post soon.
If this is an issue in your server, make sure you've included your server's ID (This can be found on the
/ping command), as well as which users are having this issue.

Good question. I honestly don't know. What permission does it need?
For nickname rewards, it would need to be able to manage nicknames on the server. Iirc, it's literally called

Hi @rrr0yyy, have you got the nickname function to work? If so, I will go ahead and close this post!
I haven't gotten around to testing it yet but I am going to work under the assumption that the nickname permission was the problem so feel free to close it. Thanks for all the help!
