expedition 33 not launching and save files not sync

im using bazzite OS - Gnome ive tried latest proton ge and proton ge 10.9 when i click play it says running and says play again after 5seconds. no error or anything.

Try deleting that directory again, then adding UMU_LOG=1 to the environment variables for the game That should hopefully tell us why the download is failing

I don't know what that is, but if it interferes with network traffic in some way, it likely is the cause of this issue

"Cloud saves sync" tab in the game settings to configure it initially (although the save path looks fine already), then you can either Download/Upload from that tab or enable auto sync to automatically download before launch & upload after

Do you know whether that uses XInput or DInput? I'd expect it to use XInput (since it has the Xbox layout), but those should be detected by basically everything
