A few clarifying questions
Hello all! I had a pleasant good-faith discussion with dandelion yesterday and was looking for more information on a few more questions that I have thought of:
- I am still trying to understand how society came up with the concept of “24/7” if the earth is flat. A sundial has 12 sections, was it originally 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night?
- are planets spherical, flat, or just light projections?
- why is the idea of “gravity” taught to us at such a young age? Things fall onto the earth because it is flat and that’s just what happens, I get that, but how does gravity correlate to the spherical earth theory?
