Kodi 21.2-Omega not working in Bazzite 43
Today I updated Kodi to the latest version due to a prompt in Flatpack. Recently I also upgraded to the latest Bazzite update, and I didn't check if the already installed Kodi was working after this, so I'm not sure whether it could be the Bazzite update or the Kodi one.
The issue: When launching Kodi, the app attempts to open (visible in taskbar) but never launches (no front-end), and it closes (at least visually in the taskbar).
What I've noticed, is that if I run Kodi through the App Launcher, it attempts to open but doesn't show on the System Monitor under "Applications", while opening it from Flatpack does make it show there, even if it doesn't launch either.
Additional information: When the update prompted in Flatpack, after a few minutes it prompted again. I clicked on both, so I feel like I installed the update twice. Not sure whether that could've been the root cause of the issue or have something to do with it.
