my player found dupe mod which actually works
running on paper 1.21.4
updating isn't an option

I‘m not aware of any existing dupes on paper 1.21.4 right now

user there suggests to just disable bundles but its also not best option
paper is not gonna help you if you're on an older version. that is just what happens.
you could try using a plugin like AEF or LPX if you don't already, but there's no guarantee that'll fix it
i don't seek for paper's help i seek for plugin that patches dupe or backports patch
you can try those two plugins then, they may work.
i would do AEF first since LPX is paid
seems like AEF doesn't have patch for that
maybe i should make some plugin to rate limit bundle since from what i saw its spams bundle

Purpur forks Paper so they include all patches
Meaning just update
it is on latest as i can see
Just spoke to someone in the paper discord, they just recommended updating to 1.21.10
So maybe try that

yeah that is what they will always recommend. being behind the latest version always opens you up to exploits

being up to date isn't option because of plugins and modpack
unless there is something like viabackwards plus to backport models and resource packs
Most plugins shouldn’t break going from 1.21.4 to latest

You are also welcome to make a PR to AEF if you want
well i made nice client side modpack mostly visual and optimizations
although not every player uses it but i plan to require it since its really changes look of minecraft
i believe bundle dupes and stuff were mostly fixed in .5/.6
