I'm no monitor expert, but if you're looking for upgrades, it'd be handy to drop what monitor you have at this moment 😄
I have 180hz 1080p ASUS monitor
does anyone know whether 1080p and 1440p differ a lot?
In my own cases, it depends on your monitor size
I think I have a 24 inch rn
For monitors, it matters with several factors, current highest fps u could get from ur pc specs, your daily usage beside gaming, and the budget ofc
Around 600 fps in a real match
btw do you know whats the difference between TN and IPS
Isp is better in term of colors
and what are the benefits of TN
i've done some research and i saw two pretty decent monitors, both are from asus, the vg258qm and vg259qmr5a, are those monitors good for valo
310hz ips is decent, but it really depends on how u justify "good for valorant"
dun limit ur sight to valorant, i did purchased different panels back to the time i was so addicted to competitive gaming, but now... I am grabbing myself an oled monitor which provide me a really good experience on daily basis
what are your thoughts on the resolutions
like 1080p and 1440p
under the same size, i could felt that the higher the resolution, the enemy's head seems smaller, maybe it is just me, idk
but anyways, if not professional, and not really into competitive gaming, higher clarity always provide u better experience
yeah cuz i saw the vg27aqm5a for like only 30 bucks more than the 310hz one
buy the new gen monitor aka oled
What’s good about oled
it is the most powerful than ips or tn i guess
but beware of burning issue etc
I love 1440p, IF your computer supports it
also if you're a movie enthusiast. Get one with good colour accuracy and peak brightness
let me know your budget
and what you do (gaming, artist, etc)
yeah im don't really watch movies on my pc, and i mainly play valorant and do some school work on my pc. i'd say my budget's around 300 bucks
should i be looking out for some deals on black friday
It really depends on what you want and what u got, get something that u think is worth the money
tbh i want a monitor thats around 300hz, cuz i've got a 180 rn, so i can maybe get one thats around 300hz and use the one i have rn for a secondary monitor
asus 360hz is good one
u mean this one?
ROG SWIFT 360Hz PG259QN
yes
idk why but this monitor is very expensive in my country
yeah for that price i could get a 610hz tn from asus
but thats too much, im looking one for around 300
bucks
Get an oled monitor you won’t regret it
Oh 300
is there a good oled monitor thats cheaper
Well oled monitors are new gen
so should i just get an ips panel
Well if I was you I ll save more money and go for an oled monitor
Oled is amazing
whats the difference between ips and oled
Super clear and faster
i see
