Wierd pattern only at the mesh while print start
Hello i have this weird Zigzag pattern when the printer does the mesh. But it is only at the gcode start print, so after preheating.
If I manually preheat the printer and do the mesh then it looks normal like you see in the picture.
(Same temp and hotend temp used for preheat)
Any ideas ?

Maybe a dumb suggestion, but could it be browser related? The way it renders the 3d object?
No, this is too fast acceleration
Lower your max acceleration of printer in mainsail to a lower value and it will go away.
Basically on line the whole printer vibrates sliglx because of speed and acceleration making it wiggle like that.
Yes that was it thank you

Any idea why it looks now like this but if I start it manually it looks normal
Your "travel" accelration in slicer.
Could be different than what yu set yourlimit
I set it to 10.000k in the max acc in ratos.cfg
So more then this it can’t be or ?
It can if you set it in slicer
So check your slicer settings.
In slicer I have 15kacc will test tomorrow with 15kacc on the printer
5k is a lot extra, that can cause that easily, so try it out.
This is basically your whole frame and everything vibrating ever so slightly with the acelerations.
So you get that blockiness with the beacon
Will test it tomorrow I hope that’s the error😄
Thanks
Also if your mesh overscan is = 0, it will just highlight the problem far more.
What do you mean ?
It means you are not giving your 3d printer any room to compenstate for the extreme movement of the toolhead each lane the beacon passes.
It means it makes a VERY sharp turns, kinda like SCV
Meaning it suddenly changes direction
That sudden change is what makes the printer vibrate, if you allow some mesh overscan (keepe in mind that means the toolhead will slightly overshoot left and right, and then s bit slower changer direction), but allow it to be smooth.
Did you know this problem

I can’t see my mesh
On the display of the printer I can see the mesh but only from top
Are you on your phone?
Omg I just don’t klick here the check

For the mesh haha
But yeah this is how it looks if I start it manually with 15k acc
So much better then if it do the mesh after the print start
And also I preheat the same temperature like if I do a print
So I don’t know why this comes when I start a print but not if I do it manually
Do you have any ideas left ?
@Helge Keck @tg73 maybe you can help. Where in the start gcode is the beacon mesh I just found the beacon contact mesh? What is different between the start code mesh and the manual mesh ?
there is no difference from the start gcode mesh and the manual mesh
both are meshes
the start gcode just meshes where you print at and not the whole bed
and i would not make a contact mesh
its not worth it, takes too long
just use contact homing but scan mesh, like in its default config
Yes I don’t do the contact mesh but if you look a few pictures up here you can see my weird pattern and no matter if I just meshes the area where I print or the hole bed I always got this pattern if I mesh with the start code of the print
But if I mesh manually then the pattern isn’t there
No matter if I preheat (like bevore the print mesh) or not I don’t get it
Don’t know what the problem was but after switching back to the ti tube it is gone
