i cant get mobile verification to work

yo can someone help me out with mobile verification of my account, im on my phone and clicking the "activate" button to start riot mobile and i have the app downloaded aswell but whenever i click to start it says mfa is disabled when it clearly is enabled, and then i click to get to my account management and it just says that mfa is on but i can enroll for mobile because its secure.
