How to prevent the MCU from crashing or brown out?

I currently have a modded arduino Nano with a built-in motor driver. I am using it for a fast line-follower robot. It seems to just randomly crash or haywire. Can anynone help?

sarcasm, just another service we offer here 🙂 yes, that was my point, based on the info given all we can say is that it's a hardware or software issue
