OpenRazer "not installed"
I ran
ujust install-openrazer to install openrazer, but now RazerGenie (didnt know which i should download so i picked first option as most do) is saying that "The OpenRazer daemon is not installed". How do I fix this?6 Replies

I'm running into the same thing - I think its a permissions error on ujust install-openrazer command, but I'm not linux-savvy enough to know how to get around it

when you have a chance (I'm going to be busy due to school) could you try this and tell me if it works? i need to sleep again due to school

it didn't for - the last command failed becuse it couldn't find the service.
user@bazzite:~$ systemctl --user enable --now openrazer-daemon
Failed to enable unit: Unit openrazer-daemon.service does not exist
I tried to run the ujust script again, same:
"Running %posttrans for openrazer-kernel-modules-dkms: bwrap(/bin/sh): Child process exited with code 4; run
journalctl -t 'rpm-ostree(openrazer-kernel-modules-dkms.posttrans)' for more information`
that command has the same errors for: "Nov 03 06:47:10 bazzite rpm-ostree(openrazer-kernel-modules-dkms.posttrans)[6081]: mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/var/lib/dkms’: Read-only file system"
lies - I had a system update I missed - i updated and everything works as expected now.
Thanks!Hey just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I had the same issue after testing some stuff on a reinstall then update and this fixed it right up for me
