Adding an external drive

Hi! I a running Immich in Docker Desktop Portainer on Windows 11 and my photos are on an external drive (D:\Photos). I have mapped the entire D drive to a folder on the C drive (C:\Seagate_Expansion) - because I could not figure out how to add the external drive directly. I then tried to add the Photos folder to Docker Compose like this: volumes: # Do not edit the next line. If you want to change the media storage location on your system, edit the value of UPLOAD_LOCATION in the .env file - ${UPLOAD_LOCATION}:/data - /C/Seagate_Expansion/Photos:/C/Seagate_Expansion/Photos:ro - /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro I also tried the line - /mnt/C/Seagate_Expansion/Photos:/mnt/C/Seagate_Expansion/Photos:ro When I add this to the import path in External library, it gets validated but no photos are added. Like the folder is empty. What am I doing wrong??

I am not fully sure but I think if you use forward slash in windows mount paths the format is following:
- ${UPLOAD_LOCATION}:/usr/src/app/upload
- "D:/Photos:/mnt/photos:ro"
- /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro
- ${UPLOAD_LOCATION}:/usr/src/app/upload
- "D:/Photos:/mnt/photos:ro"
- /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro
This will make the container path /mnt/photos so that's also what you use as path in the GUI part

Have you tried rebooting? I kid you not, I had issues with with docker trying to locate mounted volumes, and it fixed itself after a reboot of Win 11.
