How easy is it for a tailor to hem sleeves of a coat

Pretty much the title. My lot in life is to have kinda disproportionately short arms so often if something fits in the sleeves it’s kinda slim Looking at overcoats, if something fits everywhere else could I just have a decent tailor take up the sleeves or would that be fucked? I assume this is easier if there’s no cuffs or buttons but

Easy As long as the sleeve buttons aren’t funtional It really only gets tough when you can actually unbutton the sleeve cuff Otherwise it’s just like pants

Sick nasty. Doesn’t fuck up the shape of the sleeve?

I mean the sleeves in question are straight yeah I guess just roll the sleeve into itself and see what that looks like if you’re worried Since they’re just chopping off the end

Fairly easy for tailors. Like Art said if the buttons are functional you would need to find a reputable tailor since they’ll have to bring up the sleeve at the shoulder.

They just resew the buttons a bit higher up if they're non-functional?
