Why not Self-Hosted Supabase and MinIO on same server?
Hi,
I have followed this tutorial https://blog.activeno.de/the-ultimate-supabase-self-hosting-guide and when it come to part for Supabase it says:
Create a new Server Instance - do not reuse your S3 server for that(its mean about Self-Hosted MinIO server which was done before).
But he did not mention reasons why.
Can somebody explain me why is a problem Self-Hosted MinIO and Supabase to be on same server, samo Docker?
Thank you in advance

You can put it on the same server. It depends on your usage and if you want to have them isolated.
Thank you. Because he emphasized it i believed tham maybe i can have some problems if they are on same server, but i didnt knowed what it will be.
No problem. As I mentioned it depends on the isolation you want. You can also go with aws s3/cloudflare r2 storage
Still learning and not sure what isolation i want. I will see. Sure i can go with aws/ sloudflare/ hetzner, but i wanted too check it with MinIO.
