TXT and MX records for 2 different email providers on same domain.

I currently have Gmail working with my domain but as our Spectrum Business account allows us to have free email accounts, I would like to set up additional emails while retaining my current gmail ones. I have setup the MX and TXT records for Spectrum business and they confirmed the TXT is fine but the MX records seem to give me an issue. Spectrum email is able to send emails out but not receive.
