Corne Keyboard 5 Column

When I press a certain buttons on both keyboards, they repeat themselves. it's starting to become more and more apparent. It happens on both sides now but only with isolated keys. Never rows.

Repeating on isolated keys (not whole rows) is almost always a switch or hotswap contact issue, not a matrix/firmware problem. Try these quick checks: Hardware checks - Reseat and swap test: Move a known‑good switch into an affected position. If the repeat follows the switch, replace that switch. - Inspect pins: Pull the switch, straighten pins, and firmly reseat so it’s fully flush in the plate and socket. - Hotswap socket contact: With the plate off, slightly bend the gold contacts on the back of the socket toward the center so they grip the switch pins better. You can also reflow a small amount of solder on each side of the socket if needed. - Clean the switch: A burst of compressed air, or a tiny drop of contact cleaner (e.g., DeoxIT) into the switch, then click it a bunch. - More detail here: Single Key Not Working https://docs.typeractive.xyz/troubleshooting/single-key-not-working Firmware steps (if hardware looks good) - Update to our latest 5‑column Corne firmware and test: Corne Wireless Firmware (see the 5 Column section) https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/corne-wireless/firmware - If repeats persist across multiple keys, we can increase debounce in a custom build. That requires a small firmware tweak (can’t be changed via ZMK Studio). I can help you apply our 5‑col template and bump debounce. A couple of quick questions to narrow it down: - Which switches are you using? - Does the repeat stay on the same key after swapping in a known‑good switch? - Does it happen only during faster typing, or even with slow, single presses? Reply here or tag me and I’ll walk you through the next step (including the debounce tweak if needed).
