Problems accessing the mod manager's internet connection
What should I do if the mod manager can't connect to the network? It only sees already installed mods, but it can't find any new mods online. The ficsit.app website itself doesn't always open for me, but I run a VPN and everything works. The mod manager, however, doesn't work with or without a VPN.

it's most likely being blocked by a firewall
The application is allowed in the firewall, moreover, I completely disabled the firewall and the problem did not disappear.
out of interest, what country are you in?
there's previously been issues with Turkey, Russia and China as far as I recall
Russia
can you try a different server for the VPN? it is also possible to set up a proxy for SMM
I'm not sure a VPN helps with the client at all. I use the NekoBox VPN client and the Shadowsocks protocol, as well as the
ProxiFyre app on my PC and the ZeroOmega extension in the Chrome browser. In the browser, when I whitelist *.ficsit.app for the ZeroOmega extension, the website opens. However, adding "Satisfactory Mod Manager.exe"to the roxiFyre configuration file doesn't help. I use the same VPN, but the website opens in the browser, but the mod manager still doesn't work.
I just connected to a different VPN server, and the site still opens in the browser without any problems. But the mod manager won't connect.According to the resource monitor, the mod manager is experiencing some network activity. But why isn't it finding the mods?

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced here in this channel.
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs
can take a look at the network logs in the zip, but I'm not sure there'll be much of use

Something is preventing SMM from contacting ficsit.app to determine what mod versions are avaialble. Are you using a VPN or proxy? Can you access https://ficsit.app in your web browser?
No news?
Pay attention to this video. I have two mods installed, and the description page for this mod is displayed. Are they cached? I can change the mod version, and judging by the mod manager interface, the other version is downloaded instantly. Where are the files downloaded from? Not from ficsit.app? Why can I change the version of the current mods but not see any other mods?
Here's another video. I created a copy of the mod manager app and renamed it
SatisfactoryModManager.exe. This created two copies of the app. I also changed the VPN whitelist settings
VPN is NOT ENABLED for Satisfactory Mod Manager.exe
VPN is enabled for SatisfactoryModManager.exe
When I run Satisfactory Mod Manager.exe and try to change the mod version, nothing happens. The mod manager can't find the file for the different mod version.
When I run SatisfactoryModManager.exe and try to change the mod version, the file downloads and the mod version changes.
What does this mean? Does the VPN still work? But then why do I still see the error that the ficsit.app website is unavailable?Automated responses for benten115124ua (1436084087080222810)

Is anyone alive?
I'm here, but it's hard to really give recommendations. The fact you're the only one really experiencing it suggests a problem with your VPN or local firewall
long shot, but you could try running SMM as an administrator ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think I already mentioned disabling the firewall, but that didn't solve the problem. The ficsit.app website also works for me. Mod pages load in my mod manager, and other mod versions download as well. But only the two mods I already have installed. Why can't it find new mods?
Do you have the "installed" filter selected?
I take it you didn't watch the video I sent?
for the majority of both videos the UI is compressed enough that the current filter isn't shown, and when it is shown it's in Russian (which I cannot read)
For some reason, I'm downloading mods through the website. When I turn off my VPN, the download stops. When I turn it on, the download continues.
How does the mod manager get the mod list from the website? Does it use some specific protocol?
The mod is downloading. What are these addresses? Resource Monitor shows the mod manager is connected to them.

Is this your site?

What did you change? I definitely didn't touch anything. But the mods are showing up now.

nothing changed here, so probably something with your ISP
