Sun casting underneath the clouds
What is a good explanation of why the sun casts shadows underneath the clouds when it is “ over the horizon “ I’m sick of the globe guys bringing it up as evidence of their model..

sky stuff has nothing to do with the ground so I don't even know why you've given any amount of time to this.
Clouds are like a fun house of mirrors with water and particulates reflecting light chaotically inside. Much of it reflects back to you. It’s picking up the longer wavelength (red) that we experience at sunrise or sunset since the sun is so far away, so it’s reflecting that. It’s also reflecting light that was reflected off the surface of earth itself (albedo).
Demonstration over a flat surface.
