Long server joining time.

Is there a way to fix this? I don't know why i join longer to my local server than joinin public server like cubecraft. I have lenovo tiny m710q - i5-6400t, 16 GB RAM DDR4 with proxmox and LXC container that has ubuntu with craftycontroller, velocity has 512MB of RAM, lobby has 2GB of RAM running Paper. LXC has total of 13GiB of RAM with 3 cores. Even if server "edycje" is turned off i still have this problem. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/908507866183372801/1436715475164987442/Minecraft__1.21.10_2025-11-08_14-52-36.mp4?ex=69109d0e&is=690f4b8e&hm=53d6e52955feff4d2c40b94595043c83c04a5e030749b2b2ae64ed2dc18bab5f&

Are you joining with a numeric IP? If the answer is yes and you don't have proper reverse DNS in that IP, the client performs some extra checks when joining due to Mojang's blacklisting system. Either set valid rDNS or use a domain/subdomain to avoid that check.

i use numeric ip i can't port forward because of isp i used playit last time and i will use it too i know tunnel has delays

i don't have playit premium my isp blocks free playit dns maybe ngrok is an option but only for testing

Well if it's what I mentioned the only way to avoid it is by joining with a dns name (domain/subdomain). A service like playit or ngrok would provide this for you most likely. If you want to test to confirm you could add a local domain pointing at the local IP in your hosts file (the one corresponding to the OS where you're running the Minecraft client).

enable dns over https ISPs really shouldn't be able to block DNS queries if you're using dns over https Are the server and client devices plugged into the same switch? If not, what's your setup look like?

it wouldn't work polish isp "orange" blocks dns domain on the user side i can host my server over free playit tier and join with vpn people who have that isp can't connect unless they use vpn

unless they have an app installed on your computer or block all traffic to 1.1.1.1, then they can't filter DoH. It's indistinguishable from normal https traffic
