SteamVR Room Setup not working

i try to setup my steamvr headset. the headset and steamvr works but the room setup is crashing right away when i try to launching it. it also start showing that "another application was already starting" like that. is there a way to fix it? i tried everything what i could think of. i tried ALVR didnt work. i tried to verify the files. didnt work. i tried to launch steamvr with this command in steamvr properties to open the steamvr options menu (steam-runtime-launch-options -- %command%) it didnt work. is there a way to fix it? im on the latest update
