Figma Offline Downloadable Programs For All O/S?
Does any one know if there is an offline downloadable program simular to Figma that can be used offline?

it depends on how not similar you're willing to accept
for a very long time, photoshop was used to make templates for websites
and technically speaking, you could use inkscape or adobe illustrator as well
or you could go for something simpler, like pencil or balsamiq
im sure there are much better alternatives, but, i don't think you will find something 100% like figma but offline
Figma has a desktop app so you should be able to use it offline. Figma is a vector editing program like illustrator where photoshop is raster. Do you need the vector editing capabilities?

only tabs that are opened will be editable offline. but as soon as you close a tab, you can't open it anymore. You would need internet to open a file tab
That’s irritating. I haven’t used the desktop app for two years or so , I had thought there was a way to save a figma file (.fig) locally then open it in the desktop app. Although even in that case I think you’d need to have an internet connection to open it in the first place like Mark said.
I'm really not a fan of this cloud-only approach either. If you invest in a good offline foss tool, that skill will always be applicable and no one can take it away from you. It really depends what you use figma for. Are you just making rough wireframes? Full concepts? Icons / general vector graphic? These are usually pretty different disciplines that figma managed to combine which is pretty impressive honestly
