Frame Choppiness Bazzite GNOME 43 Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Bug Description
Updated from the last version of Bazzite 42 to the latest stable image using Fedora 43. Booting into GNOME the frame rate has become super choppy, performance goes back to normal when I roll back to Bazzite 42. I'm running Bazzite in a Proxmox VM (8.4.14) with GPU passthrough for my RX 7900 XTX, and I haven't been layering any system packages.
This might be answering my own question for me, but if this is a kernel driver issue from incompatibilities between the proxmox host and bazzite 43, I might just have to upgrade from 8 to 9 in order to solve my problem. Not that I love that answer though because then I'd have to upgrade all my pve nodes, and I want to see if anyone knows the issue first before I go through the trouble.
Thanks.

Having upgrade my proxmox node I can confirm that my first hypothesis was wrong.
For firmware upgrades I get this warning:
Would this be an issue?
It was not the issue
That just means your system uses old way of updating your bios. Can be ignored.
AFAIK we do not support running Bazzite in a VM. But since you do use GPU passthrough I'm not entirely sure. I can still imagine this could be a cause for the current issues you're having.
Ah okay so it's fine now?
Yes.
I found this on the website. Then again, it's not like I am expecting full support from you guys for my weird setup. I knew what I was getting myself into and was willing to do the extra maintenance if needed.

Also I already had gpu passthrough setup on this machine because I was using it for some ML stuff and had the GPU passthrough set up already, so adding a bazzite VM was a piece of cake.
@CheckYourFax This is a great distro btw, thank you so much for your contributions to this project.
