Built-in controls do not respond on GPD Win Mini (2024)

Installed Bazzite recently to replace Windows completely. On first boot, the built-in controls seemed to be working fine. Subsequent boots made it no longer possible to use these controls. Toggling the manual Controller-Mouse switch on the device does not do anything at all. These issues apply to desktop mode too, as I cannot right click with the switch on Mouse Mode. On controller settings in game mode it says that there is no controller detected. Have updated Bazzite and Steam to no avail. The only thing that works is the built-in keyboard.
