Strange behaviour on Website Redirect
Hi everyone,
I host a small website on GitHub pages and use CloudFlare DNS to provide an easier-to-use DNS name to access it.
I have just logged in today, to discover that the website is now redirecting all traffic to an external website (Simcast News Portal.)… I can’t figure out what happened, the only thing i see right now on the DNS analytics is a large number of requests from USA origin (approx 400, this is a large amount for my small website)…
I have also checked all the DNS records on CloudFlare, but i am unable to find any new redirects or URL rewrites to this new domain, hence I’m a little stumped.
I have since enabled the “Under Attack Mode” but I’d like to gain some clarity on the matter.
Thanks in advance.
