Help picking a jacket colour

I want whatever will be most versatile. I have olive, navy and khaki chinos and I usually wear white or navy tshirts or blue OCBDs. I'm terrible at knowing what colours will go together so I appreciate any assitance.
I don't wear jackets often as it's hot where I live. So I just want a reasonably cheap one for night and travel. Any other recommendations (easily available in Australia) are also welcome.
