Guest Congestion
Does anyone have any tips as far as path layout to prevent guests from overcrowing so much in certain areas causing SEVERE fps drops? I find i have to limit my guests to 1500-200 most of the time to keep the game from dropping so many frames. Normally this is fine but in late game I simply cannot make a profit unless i remove the guest cap.

Either create different path segments, and / or make other entrances to dispatch your guests through your zoo. I tend to use 3 or 4 of them and it's pretty efficient.
How big is the zoo? How many different species in the zoo? Whats the path size in width ? Factors that can play a role in congestion. To make a profit in your late game have u considered to try out a selfsustaining area where no guests come, just staff to feed and clean exhibits/walkthroughs, and make a profit through as example butterflys or snake breeding.
Unrealistic physics wise but the best approach I've found for congestion is to seperate the zoo from the main entrance. Move or delete those guest spawners and place them in different areas around the zoo. Having the guests come in from other spots rather than 1 centralized spot helps keep them spread out
I think you’ve got some good tips only thing I might add is making sure your zoo has multiple pathways so that guests can go to exhibits from different angles and directions. I accidentally built a zoo that was basically one straight line and it was the worst. And build “backstage” paths where you can so your keepers don’t get stuck in the crowds
