Endgame brand mouse middle click not registering through layer proton correctly
I have an endgame brand gaming mouse, I configured it on windows because it doesn't have a linux alternative and I haven't been able to find a linux alternative that can read the mouse. And while the middle mouse button seems to work on the desktop just fine, I am able to open new tabs with it, scroll pages with the click etc. Any game that goes through the proton layer seems to be unable to register it. If I plug an older logitech mouse in that I have the middle mouse click works just fine through proton so the issue is seemingly with the endgame mouse middle mouse not being recognized correctly somehow either from the OS or from proton.
Anyone know of a potential work around? I really don't want to have to use a razer or logitech mouse just because they have support if I can help it. But so far i've been unable to find a way to get it to work.
