Diablo + Hellfire issues loading on linux Mint.

I am able to start the game and I see the blizzard logo but then it goes all black while however playing background music. The cursor even disappears. I click randomly and it begins to show the beginning cinematic but then goes black again with audio playing.

Looks like some errors are showing in log but I'll be damned if I know how to resolve.
