Creating Windows 11 Install USB in Bazzite?
Been trying for a while now to create a windows 11 install USB so I can install it on a separate partition, as there are some games I wanna play that I can't get to work on Bazzite no matter what I do...
Problem is, I can't figure out how to actually get it installed properly on the USB stick... Tried googling it and somsone suggested Ventoy, but when I tried searching for how to install it on Bazzite it says it's not made to run on this distro and to use Fedora Media Writer, and when looking into that it says that Fedora Media Writer isn't made to make non-Linux flash drives?
Bunch of other posts also have people saying they can't get it to work because the flash drive needs to be NTFS format, and Bazzite is a different format?
I'm just really confused, not very well versed with Bazzite or Linux in general... Anyone know where I can find some clear directions on how to create a Windows 11 install USB in Bazzite?

Effectively Microsoft messed with their ISOs a lot so "normal way" of creating those stopped working
Installing Ventoy on an usb stick does sound like a pretty good way though
since then you can put all your .iso files (for windows, for other distros and so on) and have it boot into a dialog where you can choose which .iso file you want to run from (for example, the windows one)
You should be able to just download ventoy from https://www.ventoy.net/en/download.html
unpack the archive and then use its gui so it does target the usb drive
Ventoy
Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files. With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk again and again, you just need to copy the iso file to the USB drive and boot it.
How do I run Ventoy on Bazzite, though? Google says running Ventoy2Disk.sh as an executable program but doing that does nothing for me
Oh nvm, tried running the VentoyGUI.x86_64 file as a program and that opened up the GUI... Cheers
extract it and run VentoyWeb.sh
That should be the simplest
Solution
Or yes, VentoyGui should work too
Tried VentoyWeb.sh and it does nothing for me
It should display url to open in a web browser, to get to the ui
But if gui opened for you, that should be good enough too
Thanks for the help, looks like it's all Gucci now
