Can you boot into a live USB and share what your partitions look like from Linux?

I'm assuming you used bazzite's boot manager to choose between bazzite and Windows? Have you tried using the boot menu by the mainboard (usually accessed by F11)?

I had an issue a while ago where I tried to dual-boot install windows on a separate ssd. It's not my first rodeo, so I went through the effort of identifying the drives and making sure I selected the ssd I wanted windows on. The windows installer hijacked my nvme where I did not want it, nor did I select it and installed itself on there, wiping my linux os. I still had the bootloader but nothing else. So my learning experience taught me- Install windows first, then install whatever linux after, if you really need to have windows. For me- I deleted windows because that was the absolute last straw for me. I will never let microsoft fuck me again, lol.

So you're saying the Windows installer wiped a non-EFI/data partition on an SSD you didn't even select during setup?? In my case I installed Windows on a separate nVME, but the Windows installer didn't install the EFI partition on the installation drive. It marked its own EFI entry as primary in the mainboard settings and thus Grub would not show anymore. However, the EFI entry for bazzite was still there and could be accessed by the mainboard boot menu. This is the best scenario out of all the Windows fuck-ups, because you can boot into bazzite even without further recovery steps. Then second-best would be missing bazzite EFI entry / Grub, which can be easily replaced by the bazzite live ISO.
