I'm in
Now what
let's try starting desktop mode
How
starplasma-wayland on non gnome bazziteCommand not found
And I use plasma
startplasma-wayland is the command
though bazzite probably has just startplasma as wellLet me go to the toilet rq
Both didn't work
hmmm
you didn't mistype?
Nope
hmmm
does
sudo systemctl start sddm start the login screen?Yes it does
Yes
It worked
I'm in
hmmm
so it's nothing major
How come my pc does that?
seen this before with somebody trying to install openrazer
not sure what exactly causes it in your case
Weird
but we fixed it with
sudo rpm-ostree reset last time
this resets layered packagesI'll run it in a min
& thus 99% of system modifications
won't affect your games apps or settings though
Amr
All right
It keeps saying "no change"

so you didn't layer ackages then
Idk
hmm me am a bit confuzzled
what does
sudo ostree fsckLet's see.
It's verifying the integrity of one hundred fifty four comet objects
Or smt
Never mind. It's 264863.
This is gonna take a while
No errors found
hmm so like 99% of system files aren't corrupt either
Maybe compatibility problem
Cuz old specs
possibly
maybe it's something funky there
though everything basically works it seems
has this started recently?
Like 2 weeks ago
Out of nowhere
try updating perhaps that helps
I tried that when I somehow magically booted in ostree 0
Like today
This morning
hmmmm
i wonder if the way you're using now boots consistantly
just to make sure this time wasn't a fluke
Hm
there's a way to boot like this without needing to edit grub
just to male testing quicker
systemctl set-default multi-user.target
would make it boot text login every timeAlr
if it never fails to boot to text login & from there to to the graphical login that narrows things quite a bit
VERY much actually
