My game keeps crashing and getting an error code
Im new to the game and cant play the tutorial since my game keeps crashing and i keep getting the untrusted machine error can someone help please.

Sometimes this is caused by a secure boot issue which is a very easy fix and definitely does not require you to re-install your whole windows.
i havent restarted ts i did antivirus check tho

Dude you’re telling someone to just reinstall their whole operating system and I do know quite a lot :)
Reinstalling the OS is a last resort that riot gives people SOMETIMES. It’s not the first thing you try.

Alright so if the check comes back clear there are a couple of things you can try BEFORE literally fully resetting your PC:
- Check if Secure Boot/TPM is enabled (press windows+R and type “msinfo32” to check if “Secure Boot” is on or off)
If it’s off, you definitely need to turn ‘em on because for windows 11 you have to have them enabled. For that, go to your BIOS.
- Restart your PC
- While it’s starting spam F2
- There will be a menu that’s called either “Boot” or “Security” (or something similar, might be an advanced setting)
- Change it to “enabled” if “disabled”
- Press F10 to save and exit BIOS
- Restart the PC and run the “msinfo32” command again to see what the status says now. Should be “On”
If that doesn’t work, you could also try:
- UPDATING your windows, not reinstalling 😉
- Reinstall the game + Vanguard
- You could check for corrupted game files and, if applicable, repair them
Again: Please don’t randomly reinstall your OS and reset your whole system just because someone says so. Might cost you hours and do nothing. If the troubleshooting doesn’t help I recommend reaching out to support first as they might have some other steps for you. If the official Riot support suggests you to reinstall your OS, cool, but not as a first step :KEKW:

No because I’m tired of going through these posts seeing you recommend the most insane things like re-installing a whole operating system as a FIRST step. I get that you are trying to help but don’t get defensive when other people step in because some of your answers are just such incredibly unnecessary steps that I just hope people don’t listen to you sometimes.
Has nothing to do with chilling, I am sure people appreciate your help, but sometimes you give tips that could cost people hours and fix nothing.
