eArc HDMI volume issue
I'm not 100% sure this is caused by Bazzite, but it seems most likely.
A while ago(few weeks), probably after one of the updates. I started having this issue that sometimes, Bazzite seems to cause my eArc (Wiim AMP) to go to 100% volume.
This happen sometimes.. The pattern I mostly found is that this sometimes happens when:
- going from desktop mode to game
- starting up a game
- after rebooting, sometimes
I think it has to do something with (hdmi)input switching or changing. My reason to think it's because of my Bazzite install is that it does not happen on any other devices connected to my TV (Samsung S95D).
For some additional context, my system volume in linux is always 100%. I normally just use the amp volume control.
I'm not quite sure how to diagnose or solve this issue.
I have tried to solve this via the Wiim Amp and TV but those have limited options. And considering it doesn't happen with other connected devices, that wouldnt technically solve the issue. Any help is appreciated.
